Retail lighting feature
Back in 2019, we were commissioned by high-end fashion retailer Browns to develop a lighting solution for its new flagship store at 39 Brook Street, Mayfair – an amazing building with Grade II* listed status.
Working in a heritage environment with an eccentric layout definitely had its challenges, but by adopting a flexible approach to the lighting scheme, the identity of each space was retained. The result is a notable flagship destination where clients can experience the future of retail while immersed in the building’s fascinating history.
In the latest edition of Lighting Journal, I’m joined by fellow designer Martina Alagna as we talk through the lighting solution we developed and touch on the future of retail post pandemic. The article is available to read here.
Arc magazine has also featured an in-depth piece about the lighting for Browns Brook Street, which can be found here.
