A snapshot of our latest work
Our Nulty Bangkok studio is working on a number of exciting projects around the world that demonstrate the breadth and scale of the team’s lighting design expertise.
Sathorn One Hotel, Bangkok
Located in Bangkok, Sathorn One Hotel is a new business to leisure hotel with interiors by renowned hospitality design studio AvroKO. Blending timeless classicism with modern tropical references, the hotel has been designed as a welcoming space for travellers arriving in the city.
The lighting has been designed in accordance with the body’s natural circadian rhythm and emulates daylight to create a gradual shift from busy airport and urban environment, to a calmer hotel experience. Illumination for guests arriving at night serves to transition them from a bright airport environment to a more softly lit space, where warm lighting helps suppress the production of cortisol (the stress hormone) and thereby aids relaxation and sleep.
FitnGlam, UAE
FitnGlam is a new UAE-based wellness brand created by women for women, which offers everything from fitness studio and gym, through to recovery lounge, spa, sauna and café.
Designed by our Bangkok team, the lighting scheme for this super-club concept features dynamic colour changing light installations that create a vibrant workout experience. Stand out lighting design features include suspended linear panels covered with dichroic films to create colour-enhancing effects and RGB lighting with pixel control to animate the cycling studios.
Amari, Maldives
Our Bangkok design team is working on projects far and wide including this private island resort located in the Maldives. A family-oriented retreat from Panchshil Realty, Amari is an immersive resort underpinned by a castaway theme. The curated experience begins from the moment guests arrive on the island and continues through a shipwreck-inspired activity centre and abandoned lighthouse.
Lighting has been used throughout the resort to bring the escapism theme to life, with different lighting techniques employed across the villas, amenities and landscape to reinforce each design narrative and create a sense of intrigue and ambience.
