The annual passenger numbers for London Underground is 1.305 billion (yes, that’s BILLION!). This is yet another reason why we’re ecstatic about delivering the architectural lighting design concept for the next generation of stations. That’s an enormous amount of people whose travel experience we’ll help brighten and this is why we love what we do.
Forming part of the London Underground Station Design Idiom (LUDI), the energy efficient and sustainable lighting design scheme looks to the future in creating engaging and impactful spaces for passengers and as places of work. Using light creatively will add atmosphere, highlight heritage and key features and make stations flow better. And, it’s all based on the core aspects of safety and functionality.
