The brief was ambitious and the budget was modest, but we relished the chance to get creative with dramatic, theatrical lighting design for Adventure Bar’s Victorian gent inspired bar and lounge in Clapham High Street.
Alongside the interior designers, we created an exciting and inviting space where customers could chill-out whilst sipping a cocktail and be captivated by their surroundings.
Reclaimed luminaires and squirrel cage pendants lowered the cost while upping the character, and we used inexpensive fairy lights to create “party cages” for private hire.
The entrance features a striking cluster of light bulbs, while lighting levels inside subtly increase towards the back of the bar – drawing the eye to a neon sign that’s been the popular subject of Instagram photos ever since.
