When you’re dealing with one of the world’s largest trading houses and they take up new office space in Mayfair, you know from the word “go” that expectations will be high.
In close collaboration with architects Stiff + Trevillion we set to work on creating a workplace lighting design scheme for the modern, commercial office space – from private dining rooms to high-tech conference suites – that’s stylish, functional and impressive.
The interior has a high-end aesthetic and luxury hotel feel so we made sure the lighting was seamlessly integrated, accentuating the fine finishes and interior architecture. The reception area has a large bespoke pendant that mirrors the streamlined front desk making a sleek but subtle statement – the theme of feature pendants was continued in the meeting rooms giving them a luxury but personal feel.
The bar may’ve been high but that didn’t mean sustainability was out the window. LED lighting was used throughout and is controlled by a DALI lighting system, giving the client the flexibility to modify the lighting according to the required ambience.
The result? A London headquarters where the lighting solution complements the interior design to create an office atmosphere that oozes style and class.
