From New York to India, Akshara doesn’t shy away from getting involved, as a member of Women in Lighting (India) and a Junior Associate member of the Lighting Design Association of India (LiDAI), she is truly a representative of the industry.
Ever the communicator, whether its brainstorming with colleagues, writing articles or presenting her work, Akshara is a positive force, a whirlwind. Which makes sense given that she is a wannabe storm chaser, you read it right, she tracks hurricanes and follows them around the world, albeit from a safe distance behind her computer screen… for now.
