Passionate about lighting controls and technology, Ashwin grew up around his family’s lighting business and has always been intrigued by light’s tangible impact on emotion. Having studied lighting design throughout his higher education, both at the University of South Wales in the UK and at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Ashwin has a bachelors in lighting design and technology and a master’s in architectural lighting design.
Motivated by creating dynamic installations that provide unforgettable and inclusive experiences, Ashwin views light as an intangible source of energy and a key to people’s hearts. He excels at complex problem solving, deftly innovating solutions for complicated lighting control or technological issues with ease.
A tennis enthusiast, Ashwin is also the first and youngest person in India to start an NGO that helps people fight mental illness. The Dubai studio is lucky to have him in the fold!
