Gokul was always interested in natural light, so venturing into the world of lighting design was the obvious next step. Light can alter the narrative of architecture and that’s why he joined the industry.
Gokul is inspired by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, especially his work with the Kolumba Museum. The pattern of the brick work allows diffused light to fill specific spaces of the museum, generating an ambiance that Gokul dreams of recreating one day.
As Photoshop is the tool that helps bring a lighting designers imagination to life, Gokul is honing his rendering skills ready to make his visions a reality.
